Yesterday I and my friend went to my Campus. We want to ask our lecturer’s recommendation for us for Indonesian Civil Engineers Society membership.

I had made appointment with my former earthquake lecturer. Mmm… I haven’t met them for about almost 4 years. He’s my thesis guide lecturer. We got involved in conversation on some topics- little bit of structural design project, our current activity etc - for almost twenty minutes in Civil Dept.’s guest room. Unfortunately we only had a little time. I didn’t know that the day is the first day of midterm. He had to return guarding the mid term.

We didn’t only meet with lecturers but also with administration staff, laboratory staff and office boy. It’s really surprised me, that they still remembered us. We liked got involve in a little rendezvous.

We also came to our academic guide lecturer’s house, because when we arrived at campus, he had gone. He also still remembered us. He looked have interest with our profession. He asked us if the lecture matter useful for our work.

Live goes by…

I hear a little surprise; now, my former earthquake lecturer leads structural design consultant to employ his former student. I also contacted my former offshore lecturer by email a month ago. He replied my email. I was happy he still remembered me and I was very surprised to hear that he works in Petronas KL now…

Mmm… yesterday is a very crowded day…but an impressed day…

It’s very nice; always keep in touch with our lecturer.
